Today, Sunday, June 13, 2021, Dar Al Sharq Group launched its official account on the social networking site "Twitter" as part of its policy to maintain its position at the forefront of the Qatari media scene
Dar Al Sharq group tweeted its first tweet with the name and trust in Allah, and published selected photos from the archive in the opening issues of the Dar Al Sharq group newspapers, consisting of Al Sharq, Lusail, Al Arab, and Peninsul.
Dar Al Sharq Group referred in its tweet to its journey that began in 1987 when the first issue of Al Sharq newspaper was published and since then the Dar Al Sharq group has continued to work to be at the forefront of the Qatari media scene.
And in September 2020, Dar Al Sharq Group acquired Dar Al Arab for publishing, printing, and distribution, where the accession of Al Arab newspaper represented a new and qualitative addition to the media strategy of the Dar Al Sharq group, as Al Arab is the first daily newspaper to be published in the State of Qatar and the first issue of it was issued in 1972, and Dar Al Sharq issued As well as the economic newspaper Lusail and the English-speaking Peninsula.
