• Dr. Habib is the Visiting Scientist at the Dept. of Industrial Engineering of the University of Texas – Arlington, USA. He is also a Visiting Professor at Unirazak, Malaysia and UCSI, Malaysia; PUP, Philippines; Beijing Wuzi University, China; and Universities Ciputra, Indonesia.

• Currently, he supervises ten (10) Ph.D. scholars locally and internationally, and eleven (11) Ph.D. scholars have been awarded earlier.

• As a Ph.D. examiner, he has several Ph.D. involvements with UUM, UNIRAZAK, AIMST, UNITAR, Asia e University (AeU), Universiti Selangor (UNISEL), Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia; Assumption University of Thailand; Institute for Technology and Management (ITM) – University, Birla Institute of Technology (BIT)–Deemed University, National Institute of Technology (NIT), SOA University, Chitkara University, Aligarh Muslim University, India; University of the Assumption, Philippines.

• He has about 22 years of experience in teaching, training, workshops, consultancy, and research.

• Dr. Habib published over 265 research papers, including Conference Proceedings, Short Journal Papers, Journal articles, and book chapters/books. Among them, about 78 articles are WoS and Scopus Indexed.

• He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Supply Chain Management (IJSCM), UK and International Supply Chain Technology Journal (ISCTJ), USA. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief/Editorial Board Member of more than 60 journals, particularly Elsevier (Scopus) and Thomson Reuters (Web of Science) Indexed Journals.

• He accomplished his Ph.D. and M.S. with outstanding performance in Computer & Engineering Management (CEM) under the Graduate School of Business (GSB) from Assumption University, Thailand. His Ph.D. research was in the field of Supply Chain Management.

• His core research areas are supply chain management, production & operations management, operations research, research methodology, engineering/technology management, and educational management.

• Prof. Habib is an active member of different professional organizations, including IEEE (Senior Member); Chartered Fellow (FCILT), CILT International, UK; IEOM (President, SCM Technical Division); BSPUA (V.P, R & I); IETI (Senior Member and Board of Director); IRED (Fellow); GRDS (Vice-President) to name a few. He received “Outstanding Professor in Business Management” by IEOM, USA in 2023

Elias S. Abou Jawdeh

is an accomplished executive with over 17 years of experience in commercial and business development within the freight forwarding and logistics sectors

Currently, as Vice President at Milaha Maritime and Logistics in Doha, Qatar, he drives strategic growth and operational excellence.

Previously, Elias has held key roles in project logistics and commercial management, where he focused on launching new divisions and securing high-value contracts. He has a proven track record in driving efficiency and implementing innovative solutions within the logistics sector. Elias specializes in strategic planning, crisis management, and optimising global logistics strategies.

He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the AUB Suliman S. Olayan School of Business, holding a Bachelor's in International Business Management from Notre Dame University. Fluent in Arabic, English, and French, Elias is a dynamic leader in the global logistics landscape and Acting Vice president for Milaha freight logistics.

Zakaria Maamar is the Dean of and Professor in the College of Computing and IT at University of Doha for Science and Technology in Doha, Qatar (www.udst.edu.qa). His research interests are primarily related to the Internet of (cognitive) things, business processes, and impact of digital transformation on organizations. Dr. Maamar has published several peer-reviewed papers in journals and conferences and regularly serves on the program and organizing committees of several international conferences and workshops. He is the recipient of an IBM Faculty Award to perform research on social Web services. Dr. Maamar graduated for his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from Laval University in Canada in 1995 and 1998, respectively.

Dr. Mahmoud Al-Madhoun

Dr.Al-Madhoun received the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Award for Doctoral Studies, which is a scientific exchange organization for German universities and institutes worldwide. He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Regensburg (Germany) since 2010. He is a full member of the Certified Management Consultants Global Institute (CMC-GI) and is a certified trainer in the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) for Quality and Accountability in Program and Project Support in Development Cooperation. He is also a certified trainer in Action Centered Leadership (ACL). Dr. Mahmoud has delivered several workshops to a wide range of government agencies in Qatar as part of the annual national plan for training and professional development of the Civil Service Bureau and Government Development in Qatar (CGB). The most important of these workshops are Results-Based Strategic Planning and Institutional Performance Management. Dr. Mahmoud is an Assistant Professor in the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Program at the Department of Management at the Community College of Qatar. He has contributed to a number of internationally published books, including “A Holistic and Integrated Approach to Creativity, Innovation, and Sustainable Development in an Era of Disruption” (Springer), “Strategic Management in NGOs” (Springer), “International Challenges for Humanitarian Assistance and Development Cooperation” (Springer), and “New Leadership for Civil Society Organizations” (Routledge). These book projects were carried out in collaboration with a group of experts in the field of humanitarian and development work, whether at the executive committee level or CEOs from a wide range of international NGOs and UN agencies, to reflect on their own organizational experience as case studies of relevant topics. Dr. Mahmoud is fluent in three languages: Arabic, English, and German.
